A new environmentally friends waste service

Fort Wayne welcomed a new waste collection service that will be taking care of some of Allen County’s solid waste and recycling service needs.
Earth First, LLC. has invested over $500,000 in new trucks, a number of residential and commercial containers, warehouse and garage space, and eight new employees to accommodate their new area of focus.
Residential areas include 12 subdivisions, residents in Waynedale, New Haven, Roanoke, and Grabill. Businesses served include 50 commercial and 4 industrial clients.
Earth First has the ability to provide a large variety of container services to businesses and residents in and surrounding the Allen County area at a competitive low rate.
In 2009, Earth First’s founding members formed a company with this mission statement in mind: “We will put the Earth First while providing environment friendly solid waste and recycling services. We will service our customers in an exceptional manner at a fair price. We will create opportunities for our employees and support our community.”
Earth First’s president addressed the community, “We have established a business here in Northeast Indiana with the people and for the people, and we are here to stay.”

Earth First, LLC. Begins Waste Collection and Establishes Position as a Local Business in Northeast Indiana

FORT WAYNE, Ind.  January 13, 2010- On the first of the year Earth First, LLC. began waste collection service with commercial and industrial businesses, as well as specific residential areas in Allen County and its surrounding areas. Residential areas include 12 subdivisions managed by The Northeastern Group, in addition to residents in Waynedale, New Haven, Roanoke, and Grabill. Businesses served include 50 commercial and 4 industrial clients. Now equipped with a new front load and 2 new rear load McNeilus trucks, Earth First has the ability to provide a large variety of container services to businesses and residents in and surrounding the Allen County area at a competitive low rate.

Earth First has invested over $500,000 in new trucks, a number of residential and commercial containers, warehouse and garage space off of Ellenwood Drive, and eight new employees; 6 of which previously worked at National Serv-All. The company is also in partnership with Penn Waste, a large waste disposal and recycling company based in York, PA with revenues of over $40 million, which supports Earth First with a full fleet of trucks, various containers, and finances. “We have established a business here in Northeast Indiana with the people and for the people, and we are here to stay,” said Gregg Walbridge, President of Earth First, LLC.
